Request to bookThe spacious rooms and suites feature LCD TVs along with coffee-and-tea-making facilities. Each is equipped with air conditioning and a work desk. There is also plenty of luggage storage space. Most rooms come with furnished balconies and offer a view of the Indian Ocean.
Guests at Blue Waters can enjoy afternoon tea and cake in the Florida Lounge overlooking the ocean. The Versailles Restaurant provides buffet and á la carte service for lunch and dinner.
Leisure facilities at the Hotel Blue Waters include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and a squash court. There is also an outdoor rooftop swimming pool and guests can enjoy drinks with sunset views at the rooftop bar.
The Durban North Beach area is a good location for walking, running and cycling. Hotel Blue Waters is 5 minutes’ drive from the Durban ICC and 10 minutes’ drive from Durban’s city centre. Durban Station is 2 km away, while King Shaka International Airport is 31 km from the property.

- Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Hotel reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- All changes to the original booking must be received in writing via email
The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:- Between 47 and 31 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 50% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
- Between 30 and 0 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
- No shows will be charged for in full.

PEAK SEASON:- Between 90 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
PREPAYMENT:
- You'll be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation
- A total of 100% is required 30 days before arrival of booking, but 100% payment is required 90 days before arrival of booking in Peak Season.
- 100% prepayment for all 1 night stays
CHILDREN & BEDS:
To see correct prices and occupancy information, please add the number of children in your group and their ages to your search.
Cot and extra bed policies
- 0 - 2 years old are FREE
- 3 - 14 years old are ZAR 275 per child, per night
Prices for cots and extra beds are not included in the total price, and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
The number of extra beds and cots allowed is dependent on the option you choose. Please check your selected option for more information.
All cots and extra beds are subject to availability.
NOTE: Name change on the booking can be done for an additional R500 should the member not travel with.

Do I need the whole amount available in my wallet
You do not need to have the whole amount available in your travel wallet. Any outstanding amount may be settled by EFT
Can I pay cash upfront?
Yes, you can pay cash upfront. Even if you have the full, or partial amount in your travel wallet, if you choose to you may pay for your trip entirely with case, sent to us by EFT
Can I get a refund if I can't make my trip?
Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.
Does the total include flights and visas?
No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
