You will be able to contact Asambeni should you require assistance while on your trip. This is to ensure that you have a great Getaway while in De Zeekoe Guest Farm. One of the Asambeni Getaway Gateway member will share their contact details for you to contact them should there be any issues.
Transportation
Flights are not included in the trip. Should you need to book a flight, you would have to book to land at the George Airport or you can contact Asambeni Getaway to assist you with getting one of the best flight prices to George. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.
NOTE: There will be no transfers between the airport and hotel, that can be arranged for you on request.

- Check into the hotel at any time after 2 p.m.
- 2-5 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the lobby.
- 6:30 p.m.: The rest of the evening at your leisure. Dinner is at your own expense.

It provides air-conditioned farmhouse accommodations in a perfect setting for outdoor activities and wildlife explorations. Oudtshoorn is 4.3 mi away. De Zeekoe Guest Farm is a beautifully restored colonial homestead, dating back 150 years. Offering luxurious rooms and cabins with breathtaking surroundings, the farm is a nature lover's paradise.
Relax in your stylish room set among lush indigenous gardens with a patio offering spectacular mountain views. Each is decorated in warm colors. Cool off in the salt-water swimming pool, before savoring homegrown, organic produce and local specialties such as ostrich and venison. A selection of local wines is available from the wine cellar.
De Zeekoe Farm offers unique opportunities to interact with wild meerkats. Explore the vast farm grounds in a malaria-free area and the unspoiled Karoo by mountain bike or hiking. Spend time fishing or canoeing within the borders of the farm. The Cango Caves, waterfalls and museums are all in the vicinity of De Zeekoe Guest Farm.
Policies
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
- Check-in time is from 14h00
- Check out time is by 10h00
- Requests for early arrival or late check out must be made directly with the Hotel
- Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Hotel reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- All changes to the original booking must be received in writing via email
- The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 20% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 32+ days prior to the arrival date.
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 100% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 0-31 days prior to the arrival date.
- No Shows and Early Departures are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
PREPAYMENT:
- You'll be charged a prepayment of 60% of the total price after reservation
- A total of 100% is required 30 days before arrival of booking
- 100% prepayment for all 1 night stays
CHILDREN & BEDS:
Children of any age are welcome.

Cots and extra beds are not available at this property.
Name Change Policy: Name changes are subject to a R500 name change fee.
In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.
Does the total include flights and visas?
No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
