You will be able to contact Asambeni should you require assistance while on your trip. This is to ensure that you have a great Getaway while in The Last Word Long Beach. One of the Asambeni Getaway Gateway member will share their contact details for you to contact them should there be any issues.
Transportation
Flights are not included in the trip. Should you need to book a flight, you would have to book to land at the Cape Town International Airport or you can contact Asambeni Getaway to assist you with getting one of the best flight prices to Cape Town. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.
NOTE: There will be no transfers between the airport and hotel, that can be arranged for you on request.

Itinerary
Day 1
- Check into the hotel at any time after 3 p.m.
- 2-5 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.
- 6:30 p.m.: Welcome reception at the hotel with alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks (1 per person)
- The rest of the evening at your leisure. Dinner is at your own expense.
Day 2
- 6:30-10 a.m.: Buffet breakfast in the main dining room.
- Day at your leisure
- 6 p.m.: Dinner at the Hotel Restaurant
- Dinner Voucher of R500 per person
Day 3
- 6:30-9:30 a.m.: Buffet breakfast in the main dining room.
- Check out of the hotel by 10 a.m.
*The minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years. Age is determined at the time of travel.

Hotel Details
Featuring an infinity pool, President Hotel has a terrace bar with panoramic views of Lion’s Head Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. A 3-minute walk from Queen’s Beach, it serves a full English breakfast.
Guest rooms are air-conditioned and contemporary in style. All rooms have a flat screen TV, semi self catering kitchenettes with tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridge and a microwave.
The Island Restaurant offers a buffet and a la carte menu options, in a casual setting. The Senate Bar offers cocktails and other drinks.
Hop-on, hop-off bus tickets can be bought at the travel desk and there is a stop right outside the hotel.
The President Hotel is 6 km away from Cape Town Stadium and the shops and attractions of the V&A waterfront. Cape Town International Airport is around 30 minutes’ drive away.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
- Check-in time is from 14h00
- Check out time is by 10h00
- Requests for early arrival or late check out must be made directly with the Hotel
- Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Hotel reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- All changes to the original booking must be received in writing via email
- The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 50% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 45+ days prior to the arrival date.
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 100% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 0-45 days prior to the arrival date.
- No Shows and Early Departures are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
PEAK SEASON:
Between 90 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
PREPAYMENT:
- You'll be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation
- A total of 100% is required 30 – 14 days before arrival of booking
- 100% prepayment for all 1 night stays
CHILDREN & BEDS:
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children 12 and above are considered adults at this property.

Crib and extra bed policies
- 0 - 2 years old are FREE
- 3 - 12 years old are FREE
The number of extra beds and cots allowed is dependent on the option you choose. Please check your selected option for more information.
All cribs and extra beds are subject to availability.
Name Change Policy: Name changes are subject to a R500 name change fee.
In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

Do I need the whole amount available in my wallet
You do not need to have the whole amount available in your travel wallet. Any outstanding amount may be settled by EFT
Can I pay cash upfront?
Yes, you can pay cash upfront. Even if you have the full, or partial amount in your travel wallet, if you choose to you may pay for your trip entirely with case, sent to us by EFT
Can I get a refund if I can't make my trip?
Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.
Does the total include flights and visas?
No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
